Portraits
Good portraits aren’t about perfect lighting or a rehearsed expression — they’re about the moment someone stops performing and starts being themselves. That’s where the real photograph lives, and that’s what Tim works toward in every session.
Whether it’s an executive headshot in a downtown Portland office, an editorial feature shot on location in the Pearl District, or an actor’s comp card at the studio, the goal is always the same: make a picture that actually looks like the person in front of the camera. Tim brings a calm, collaborative approach to portrait sessions — he’ll talk through wardrobe, help with posing, and take the time to find the angle and light that work for you.
He shoots portraits for magazines, agencies, corporate clients, and individuals across Portland and the Pacific Northwest, and travels regularly for assignments nationwide and internationally.
