Chante Washte Wicasha Endowed Scholarship

No Weekend Parting Shot today. Instead, I have decided to contribute to and amplify something good in this world.

David Kennedy, one of the creative forces behind the world-renowned advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy passed away last month. He was not only an incredible creative force. But also a damn good human being. Throughout the years, I have heard many anecdotes about David’s good-hearted nature and how he always sought to support and elevate fellow humans around him. His generosity and kindness weren’t limited to his creative community. He also gave generously to the American Indian College Fund for more than thirty years. I never had the honor to work with Wieden+Kennedy. However, I have always admired David’s virtuous and human ways, and it always made me happy to see his actions ripple through our creative community.

Today, in honor of David and his dedication to the native people of this country that I now call home, I am giving to the Chante Washte Wicasha Endowed Scholarship. I’m inviting you to consider a gift to his endowment as well.
