I recently got together with Peter Marks of Rhythm Nation and the Rhythm Nation podcast for some portraits.
Rhythm Nation is a non-profit organization that aims to build a diverse and inclusive community of working people against the consolidation of wealth and power through the shared love of music.
We wanted to create some portraits that Peter can use for his community activism podcast and images that he can use for his music career.
We decided to create daylight photography and darker imagery that works well in electronic music DJ-ing and production.
Working with Peter on these images was a delight. We quickly figured out the direction that we wanted to go with each mood. Here are some of my favorite photos from this shoot.
